The full-day conference brought together industry leaders, government representatives, and digital transformation experts to discuss the future of AI and its vital role in Bahrain’s socio-economic progress.
The conference focused on AI's accelerating impact across sectors, aligning with Bahrain Vision 2030, which prioritizes innovation, knowledge-based growth, and workforce readiness. The sessions covered emerging areas such as Generative AI, Agentic AI, AI ethics, digital transformation strategies, and responsible innovation, reinforcing Bahrain’s position as a rising AI hub in the GCC region.
The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Milton Mattox, CEO of USAII®, on the topic “AI Certifications and Aligning AI Skills with Global Standards.” Dr. Mattox spoke passionately about the need for rapid AI upskilling to meet the demands of modern AI technologies like ChatGPT and autonomous agents.
