UPLIFTING THE AI ETHICS AND STANDARDS

AI Ethics in the Workplace

AI ethics in the workplace is an important differentiating factor. AI leaders believe that, despite the pandemic, ethics will have a significant impact on work in coming years. Companies with high AI ethics can attract more customers and young talents and cooperate on long-standing industry issues such as fraud, financial crime, and economic exclusion.

AI's way of entering the enterprise is still in the early stages and has great hope, especially for industries with rich data, decision-making and insights. To achieve this commitment, companies must address some practical considerations, such as how to acquire skills, understand the market and manage data, and policy considerations, such as how to manage AI, and use AI within their business in a responsible and consistent manner with values and participate in the formulation of AI regulations and industry standards.

Benefits of AI Ethics

The application of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (ML) can create better access to information for global citizens and safer workplaces, more accurate health diagnoses, and many. The fourth industrial revolution will signify a new era of cooperation between humans and AI and may positively impact the world. According to the World Economic Forum (WEF), advances in Artificial Intelligence can help society address income inequality and food insecurity, thereby creating a more “inclusive, people-oriented future”.

The amazing and frightening AI innovation has almost unlimited potential. For almost everyone, even a small change in any context can substantially affect their behavior – hence at USAII®, we strongly develop an ethical culture within our ecosystem. USAII® spells out standards that help to emerge Artificial Intelligence roles and jobs mature into well-defined Artificial Intelligence professions worldwide.

Benefits of AI Ethics

USAII's Ethical Standards

In the IEQ of the USAII's ethical standards – Idea, Ethics, Qualities, and these ethical conduct and morals will help AI/ML professionals achieve the highest possible standards.

  • Idea

The first pillar of our ethical behavior is the idea of a futuristic approach that represents USAII® and its ecosystem. Considering the fast-moving evolving technical field of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, it becomes more critical that USAII® best realizes its idea of providing the most relevant and desirable AI/ML professionals to the world and fill the skill gap in the industry. This further enhances technological advancement, thereby helping to make our world a better place to work and live.

  • Ethics

The second pillar of our ethical behavior is USAII's firm belief in the ethics instilled in its ecosystem. Every candidate or partner must have the correct professional ethics. In any case, these ethics must not be abandoned and must always be rock solid. AI/ML will always mean analyzing and representing the correct data set; however, any misrepresentation of the data due to unethical motives is catastrophic, and USAII® will always take the strongest action against any unethical behavior and strip off the person in question of its ecosystem forever.

  • Qualities

The third pillar of the USAII® ethics framework is the professional ethics of any AI/ML professional who believes in the highest quality and standards, which is vital to the USAII's Ethics and Standards Management Committee. The continuous improvement and rigor of any AI/ML practice must be imparted thoroughly to everyone in the ecosystem to make it a robust and future-oriented profession.

Code of Ethics and Standards

All USAII® certification holders, candidates, and partners globally must comply with the USAII's Code of Ethics and Standards. The code of ethics and standard are updated annually and reserves the right to update it either due to the urgent recommendations by the USAII's Ethics and Standards Management Committee or any other compliance and regulatory instructions by the United States government.
